We discuss every aspect with you, making sure the role is right for you:

• Is this role with a better company & working environment that your current one?
• Does the role genuinely match your skills, goals and aspirations?
• What do we know about the company, owners, managers and culture? Do we get a lot of unhappy employees come from them, or do we see a high turnover of staff?
• Is the company growing & financially sound?

We’ll challenge you (and sometimes push back on roles that sound good but don’t really fit). We’d rather lose a quick fee than see you regret a move.

2. Your CV is yours. We never send it without your permission.

This is non-negotiable for us:

• We never send your CV anywhere without your clear permission.
• We always tell you who the company is, what they do and what the role really involves.
• You see the role before the client sees you.

No blind submissions. No “we’ve already sent your CV” surprises. You stay in control of where your details go, every step of the way.

3. No pushy tactics. Ever.

You’ll never get from us:

• Pressure to interview for a role you’re not comfortable with
• Being talked into accepting an offer you’re unsure is right for you, for whatever reason.

Instead, you’ll get:

• Straight, honest feedback – even if it’s not what you hoped for
• Clear pros and cons of each opportunity
• Space to think, talk it through, and decide in your own time

We’re here to advise, not hard-sell. If it’s not right for you, it’s not right for you.

4. Honest & transparent advice / sector knowledge

Because we specialise in shipping, freight forwarding and logistics, we can give you real-world guidance on:

• Salary and market rate for your experience level and location
• What progression realistically looks like.
• Which employers are investing in their teams, growing & hiring often
• Where your skills are most in demand (and where they’re not)

·        If we think you can earn more, we’ll tell you. If we think your expectations are out of line with the market, we’ll tell you that too.

5. We work around your schedule – including after hours

You’re busy. Work in an open plan office or just flat out during the working day.

So, we’re flexible:

• Happy to speak before or after normal hours
• Phone, Teams or Zoom – whatever works best for you
• We can ask simple quick questions by text, WhatsApp or email, so you can respond with ease
• No applications forms to complete

6. Tech-enabled, but always human
